Two-time Olympic sprint double champion, Elaine Thompson-Herah, has withdrawn from the national trials and will not defend her titles at the Paris Olympics due to an Achilles injury. The 31-year-old Jamaican sustained the injury during the 100m sprint at the New York City Grand Prix earlier this month. Thompson-Herah won the Olympic sprint double in Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo.
