Sydbank A/S receives regulatory approval to acquire Coop Bank A/S by end of July 2024.
Sydbank A/S has received regulatory approval to acquire Coop Bank A/S, following clearance by Danish authorities. The acquisition is expected to be implemented by end of July 2024, after approval from both the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority and the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority. Sydbank initially announced its intention to acquire Coop Bank on 21 May 2024.
