Slovakia's Parliament approved a security legislation package in response to an assassination attempt on Prime Minister Robert Fico, including the right to ban protest rallies near politicians' homes, residential areas, government seats, and the president's residence. The Interior Ministry will identify long-term residences for key political figures, and former PMs and speakers who have served at least two terms will receive regular payments after their terms expire.
