Scandinavian Tobacco Group A/S acquires Mac Baren Tobacco Company A/S for DKK 535 million. The deal includes Mac Baren's strong portfolio of pipe and fine-cut tobacco brands, as well as its nicotine pouch brands. The acquisition will be financed by cash on hand and debt, and is expected to close shortly. Mac Baren, founded in 1826, has net sales generated primarily in the US, Denmark, and Germany.
