Peninsula Pacific Entertainment and Linn County Gaming Association plan to jointly apply for a gaming license in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, after a two-year pause on new licenses. If approved, their $250M, 160,000 sq ft Cedar Crossing Casino project will be the second-largest city's first casino, promising job creation, tourism, and revenue for nonprofits. The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission will discuss the process on July 8th.
