Oregon's first graduate medical education program, the Three Sisters Rural Track Program, launched with three residents, funded by $750,000 and $250,000 grants. The joint effort by OHSU and St. Charles Health System aims to grow Central Oregon's healthcare workforce and address rural community health needs. The program, a three-year family medicine residency, plans to produce 23 physicians within ten years for Central Oregon.
