Ohio's "intellectual diversity" anti-DEI bill, sponsored by Sen. Jerry Cirino, aimed at requiring diverse viewpoints in political, marriage, and abortion topics, and limiting diversity training at universities, did not pass the House before summer break. Cirino blamed a lack of leadership for the bill's failure to reach the House floor for a vote. Faculty and student groups oppose the bill.
