Mercedes-Benz CEO increases combustion engine technology investments to 14 billion euros.
Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Kaellenius reveals the automaker is investing more than initially planned in combustion engine technology. This year, the company will spend 14 billion euros ($15 billion) on combustion engines in passenger cars, with investments also made in factories and research & development. The premium carmaker aims to keep its combustion engine models at the highest technological level to ensure its continued success in the industry.
