A man struck by a lorry in Oban, Scotland, was later found dead by the roadside a mile away.
A man was found dead by the roadside a mile from where he was hit by a lorry in Oban, Scotland. The pedestrian was struck by an HGV in the George Street area before his body was discovered on the A85 near Pennyfuir at around 01:55 on Thursday. The A85 has been closed in both directions between Connel and Oban, and George Street has been closed by police as the investigation continues.
