Man from Princeton area died after his SUV crashed into Similkameen River on June 23.
A man from Princeton area died after his SUV veered off Highway 3, traveled down an embankment, flipped over, and plunged into the Similkameen River on June 23. The incident occurred around 1:30 PM, east of the town. First responders attempted to revive the driver as they recovered his body from the river. The RCMP confirmed the victim's identity and location.
