Prosecutors in Indonesia have requested an eight-month rehabilitation for an Australian man, Troy Andrew Smith, charged with possessing methamphetamine in Bali. This follows the dropped charge of drug trafficking, which would have carried the death penalty. Smith was arrested after police found 3.15 grams of meth in a toothpaste container in his hotel room.
