A Fort Bliss, Texas couple, Cecilia Stepaniak and Coreydon Stepaniak, were indicted on federal child abuse charges for allegedly endangering a child under 15 years old between April 2019 and February 2024. The couple is accused of falsely reporting the child's removal from school, restricting food intake, using a cell phone charging cable to hit the child, threatening with a knife, kicking, confining to a dark closet, and forcing them to perform calisthenics exercises.
