Bruce Lehrmann, a former Liberal staffer, has been ordered to pay Network Ten AUD2 million ($2.6 million) in legal fees after his failed defamation action. In April, a judge found Lehrmann sexually assaulted his then-colleague Brittany Higgins inside a Parliament House ministerial office. The television network has been seeking an order for Lehrmann to pay the lump sum of $2 million.
