Enterprise Ireland-backed companies set a new export record of €34.57bn in 2023, driven by a 10% increase in technology & services exports to nearly €8.5bn. The UK accounted for 29% of total exports, growing by 6% to nearly €10bn, while the Eurozone and North America accounted for 25% and 19% respectively, with exports rising 5% to €6.5bn. The industrial and life sciences sector saw a 7% rise to €10.4bn.
