The Chickasaw Inkana Foundation broke ground on its $60M Chickasaw Heritage Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. The 162-acre center will feature exhibits, a theater, art gallery, administrative offices, playground, and a Chickasaw Village. Upon completion, the center will be the largest educational experience in northeast Mississippi, sharing the Chickasaw's history and culture from their perspective.
