5 Brooklyn ACS employees arrested for smuggling contraband into a juvenile center in exchange for bribes.

5 Brooklyn employees of the Administration for Children's Services were arrested and charged in federal court for smuggling weapons, drugs, cell phones, and other contraband into a juvenile center in exchange for thousands of dollars in bribes. Inspections uncovered over 340 scalpels or razor blades, narcotics, tobacco, and 75 cell phones at the Crossroads Juvenile Center in Brownsville. If convicted, they could face up to five years in prison each.
