BPCL plans a one-month maintenance shutdown of Kochi refinery's 6 MTPA crude unit in September.

Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) plans to temporarily shut down a 6 MTPA crude unit and some secondary units at the Kochi refinery for maintenance from mid-September for about one month. The company expects minimal impact on annual crude processing during the current fiscal year. BPCL also aims to expand its Bina refinery capacity to 11 MTPA by mid-2027, with a planned petrochemical plant expansion to 1.5 MTPA by mid-2028.
