BJP demands probe into previous Maha govt's alleged 'conspiracy' with builders over Coastal Road plot. BJP's Mumbai chief Ashish Shelar urged Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to investigate if there was a plan to hand over the vacant plot adjoining Mumbai's Coastal Road to builders during Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government. The demand came after the state government decided to beautify and recreate the 300-acre open space instead of building commercial constructions.
