Australian Renewable Energy Agency funds $2m for 10 feasibility studies in pet food, barramundi, and wine industries to explore energy-saving and pollution-reducing methods.

The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) is providing nearly $2 million in funding for 10 feasibility studies, supporting small-scale producers in pet food, barramundi, and wine industries to explore ways to save energy and reduce pollution. The projects aim to unlock further investment by providing methods that can be replicated by other manufacturers struggling to reduce emissions. The initiatives are part of Australia's federal industrial decarbonisation programs, which allocate $440 million for applications across agriculture, mining, manufacturing, and other eligible sectors.
