Walker County corrections officer Tony Dewayne Jackson, 29, was arrested for allegedly smuggling non-drug contraband into the county jail. The investigation, conducted in collaboration with the District Attorney's Office, revealed that Jackson compromised the safety and security of both inmates and staff. Jackson is charged with third-degree promoting prison contraband and is no longer employed by the sheriff's office.
