Dublin Zoo has welcomed its first bull elephant with tusks, Aung Bo, a 22-year-old, 5-tonne Asian elephant, from Chester Zoo in England. This marks a significant arrival for the zoo, as Aung Bo will be the first bull elephant with tusks to inhabit Dublin Zoo. The gentle giant, who enjoys snacking on trees, joins an all-female herd and will be introduced to them over the coming weeks.
