67-year-old Stephen Lane from Glenburn, Maine was killed when a retaining wall collapsed on him during construction work on Railroad Avenue in Brownville on Tuesday afternoon. Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate him but were unsuccessful. The Piscataquis County Sheriff's Office and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are investigating the incident.
