26-year-old Pakistani TikTok star Jannat Mirza has become the most followed celebrity in Pakistan with 25 million followers, surpassing actress Hania Aamir. Mirza also has over 5 million followers on Instagram and 222,000 subscribers on YouTube. Despite facing a 2021 ban in Pakistan due to "immoral and indecent" content, TikTok resumed operations in November after agreeing to filter content according to local laws.
