31-year-old Jersey City police officer Justin Rivera was arrested for forging 6 documents to fraudulently gain 8 weeks of medical leave. Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced the charges of six counts of forgery/uttering forged documents, a 4th-degree offense. Rivera was part of the 2021 inaugural class of the Hudson County Public Safety Training Center and is set to appear in court on July 9th.
