TotalEnergies acquires 60% stake and operational control of Block STP02 offshore São Tomé and Príncipe from ANP-STP.
TotalEnergies has acquired a 60% stake and operational control of Block STP02 offshore São Tomé and Príncipe from Agência Nacional do Petroléo de S. Tomé e Príncipe (ANP-STP), while Sonangol retains a 30% interest and ANP-STP keeps 10%. The 4,969 km² block is near TotalEnergies' existing Block STP01. This move supports TotalEnergies' exploration efforts in São Tomé and Príncipe.
