The SEP provisions include extended trading hours for venues hosting live entertainment, relaxed noise restrictions, approval for outdoor dining until 11pm every night, and a reduction in the number of government agencies policing complaints. This model is set to be replicated statewide, with 18 councils expressing interest in establishing their own SEPs.
