Former Anglican priest Bishop David Waller was ordained as the first Catholic bishop of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham in London on June 22, during a Mass presided over by Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández. The Ordinariate, established in 2011, allows Anglicans to enter full communion with the Catholic Church while retaining their English traditions and practices.
