RTÉ plans to move Fair City and Late Late Show production off-site and offer half of non-live programs online as part of a five-year strategy, following 400 job cuts.
RTÉ plans to move the production of flagship TV shows Fair City and Late Late Show off-site, possibly to the independent sector, as part of a new five-year strategy to revive the national broadcaster. The RTÉ Player will also offer half of its non-live programmes online before they air on television. This follows the announcement of 400 job cuts as part of the post-Ryan Tubridy payments scandal recovery plan.
