Nigeria's FEC approves N1.99bn for 33 CNG vehicles, $1.442bn for NDLEA arms, and bans single-use plastics in federal ministries.

Nigeria's Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved N1.99 billion for 33 CNG vehicles and $1.442 billion for arms, ammunition, and equipment to bolster the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency's (NDLEA) fight against drug trafficking. Additionally, N985 million will be used to acquire two full-body scanners for international airports. The FEC also approved a ban on single-use plastics in federal ministries, agencies, and departments.
