Joyce Bawah Mogtari, spokesperson for NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, has stated that Mahama is incorruptible despite allegations of $8m spent on luxury properties in Dubai by some appointees during his previous administration. Bawah Mogtari accused Ben Ephson, the Daily Dispatch owner, of attempting to tarnish Mahama's reputation while ignoring corruption in the current Akufo-Addo administration. She denounced the story as a "syndicated" effort to distract and defame Mahama.
