"Fart walks" have gone viral on social media, with users sharing their experiences of feeling better after taking walks 60 minutes after dinner. Researchers in 2006 studied eight patients with bloating, seven of whom had irritable bowel syndrome, and found that avoiding gassy foods and fasting beforehand improved symptoms. Exercise has been shown to help relieve bloating by moving gas through the body.
