Liberia's Finance Minister Boima Kamara charged with contempt by House of Representatives for refusing to appear three times, claiming International Monetary Fund delegation presence as reason. Punishment for contempt under Rule Four includes a fine of up to $5,000, one-month imprisonment, or detention until the end of the current session. Kamara expected to appear before the House on June 27, 2024.
