6 Kaduna students drowned in Mbang River after Junior WAEC exams; 3 bodies recovered, 3 missing.
6 students from Kaduna's Government Secondary School Fadan Chawai drowned in Mbang River while returning from Junior West African Examination Council (WAEC) exams. The victims, aged 15-19, were identified as Manasseh Monday, Musa John, Pius David, Monday Ayuba, David Danlami, and Yahuza Audu. Three bodies recovered, three remain missing. Mbang River is known hazard; community urges Federal Government, Governor Uba Sani, Sen. Sunday Katung, & House of Representatives members for aid in constructing schools, hospitals, access roads, & bridges.
