J&K Police dismissed a constable for his involvement in a murder case and other criminal activities. Constable Sham Lal joined District Kishtwar in 2023 while under suspension for prolonged absence and criminal activities. He was arrested by Punjab Police for his involvement in the murder of Rajesh Dogra and was lodged in the New District Jail Nabha. A departmental inquiry found him involved in multiple criminal cases, leading to his dismissal from service.
