Horry County Police Department hosted an active shooter training at the Academy for Technology and Academics for local departments, including Conway City PD, Aynor PD, and Loris. The yearly workshop allows officers to sharpen their skills and train as close to reality as possible, focusing on tactics, communication, and mindset challenges. Over 25 special operations team members facilitated the training, which was attended by school officials and security guards.
