Hockey Canada appoints Jon Cooper, two-time Stanley Cup-winning coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning, as head coach for Canada's national men's team for the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off and the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. Cooper, a Prince George native, last coached Canada at the 2017 IIHF World Championship. This marks the first opportunity for NHL players to compete in the Olympics since 2014 in Sochi.
