Globe Telecom partners with Lynk Global to pilot satellite-to-phone services in remote Philippine provinces. The collaboration aims to test the reliability of Lynk's Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology in connecting far-flung areas, providing emergency alerts, text messages, and IP messaging apps to Globe subscribers in Zambales, Pangasinan, Siargao, and Leyte. The partnership runs until June 2025.
