Ex-BHS director Dominic Chappell has been ordered to pay £50m for charges related to the company's 2016 collapse. High Court Judge Mr Justice Leech found Chappell, who acquired BHS for £1 in 2015, had no realistic plan to secure capital. Charges include £21.5m for wrongful trading and £17.5m for breach of fiduciary duty, resulting in 11,000 job losses and a £571m pension shortfall.
