Cricket legend Kapil Dev, famous for India's first World Cup win in 1983, has been elected as the president of the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI). He previously served as a vice president and board member in 2021. Kapil aims to enhance the growth and improvement of Indian professional golf, introducing the lucrative Kapil Dev Grant Thornton Invitational tournament to the PGTI calendar.
