Black bear cub rehabilitated and released after 8 months at Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation.

A black bear cub found in poor health in Westlock, Alberta, has been successfully rehabilitated and released back into the wild after eight months of care at the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation. The bear, weighing only 28 pounds when discovered, has now reached 60.7 kilograms and is in good health. The wildlife conservation facility continues to care for two other black bear cubs.
