The B.C. Civil Resolution Tribunal has ordered WestJet to pay $575 in damages to a passenger, Aimee Mugridge, for a delayed flight. Mugridge missed her connecting flight from Kelowna to Phoenix due to a flight delay with WestJet. She purchased a ticket with Alaska Airlines to reach her destination. WestJet initially denied most of her claims but agreed to refund her for the unused portion of her ticket.
