Atlantic Ballet of Canada launches an Indigenous dance program this fall, aiming to provide professional training for eight dancers close to their communities and culture. The new $400,000 grant-funded program, called Intercultural Indigenous Dance, will be located in Moncton and is the first of its kind in the country. The contemporary-style program will also include traditional and ballet, giving students diverse opportunities in their careers.
