18-year-old charged with violent disorder in Phoenix Park denies 'attack on the gay community': Reece Murphy was charged with violent disorder and brandishing a hammer as a weapon during an incident in Phoenix Park last week. In court, his defence said he is not homophobic and claims the incident was not "some sort of attack on the gay community". Murphy was granted €800 bail with conditions, pending directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
