Wisk Aero, a Boeing subsidiary in the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) sector, has acquired Verocel Inc., a software verification and validation (V&V) company. Verocel's expertise in certifying high-integrity aerospace software and tools supports Wisk's goal to certify its autonomous, electric Generation 6 air taxi, utilizing their VeroTrace software for FAA submissions. This acquisition will aid in accelerating Wisk's certification process for its self-flying aircraft.
