The annual Trafficking in Persons report from the State Department warns of technology exacerbating the problem affecting millions worldwide. Brunei has not convicted any traffickers in the past seven years, while Sudan was previously ranked as Tier 2, meaning it was not fully compliant but making significant efforts to improve.
