Tesco Ireland fined €1,000 for failing to display unit pricing on Clubcard promotional labels, violating consumer laws.
Tesco Ireland has been fined €1,000 for failing to display unit pricing on Clubcard promotional shelf-edge labels, violating consumer protection laws. The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) found Tesco guilty of not providing unit pricing, making it difficult for consumers to compare products and brands. Tesco was ordered to pay the legal costs of the CCPC and make a €1,000 donation to the Little Flower Penny Dinners charity.
