Starbucks has released two new iced energy drinks, Melon Burst and Tropical Citrus Energy, ahead of the summer season. The fruity energy drinks, which contain up to 205 mg of caffeine, join the growing "functional beverages" category, offering health-improving ingredients. Starbucks' new energy drinks come amidst the discontinuation of Panera's Charged Lemonade, which faced lawsuits blaming it for two deaths.
