Samsung Electronics completed construction of infrastructure to produce faster, more efficient AI chips using Compute Express Link (CXL) technology. Located at Samsung Memory Research Center in Hwaseong, CXL technology enables efficient operation among computer processing units, accelerators, and memory chips. The technology is considered a next-generation memory option following high-bandwidth memory. Samsung's CXL infrastructure was certified by Red Hat, a US software company.
