Car dealerships in North America are dealing with system outages and scam attempts following back-to-back cyberattacks on Illinois-based CDK Global, a software provider for auto dealers. The attacks have forced many dealerships to revert to manual pen-and-paper processes, causing delays for prospective car buyers and vehicle orders. CDK Global estimates it will take several more days to restore its system.
