Nigeria's Free Trade Zones generated N11.1 billion between 2020 and 2023, contrary to earlier reports of N11.11 trillion, according to the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA). The actual figures are N377.33m in 2020, N3.11bn in 2021, N3.44bn in 2022, and N4.17bn in 2023. NEPZA managing director, Olufemi Ogunyemi, described the initial quoted figure as a "regrettable typographical mishap."
